I always get sad whenever I hear Alice's Theme from Shadow Hearts. It's such a pretty, yet such a sad, sad song. It always makes me think of how sad Yuri and Alice's relationship is, no matter what ending you get in either Shadow Hearts I or II. Especially since the "bad" endings always end up being the canon (the "bad" ending in Koudelka was canon, and the "bad" ending in Shadow Hearts I was canon). I really hope that the bad ending in Shadow Hearts II isn't the canon ending, it's never really addressed in Shadow Hearts III, so I guess I can live in my little world where I've convinced myself the good ending is the real one. It's much easier to get than the good ending in Shadow Hearts I (or even Koudelka, if I remember right), so, yeah, maybe.

It's a shame that Shadow Hearts 3 wasn't as good as the other two (in my opinion) and that the company who made Shadow Hearts are no longer the same company so there won't be any more of them. I mean, Shadow Hearts III wasn't terrible, I just didn't enjoy it as much and all. Oh well.

I want to go play them again!! They're interesting, funny, and they really make me care about the characters. Plus, you can name the vampire Vincent and his name will be Vincent Valentine. XD I'm a dork. Maybe I will start playing them again, and try not to get depressed this time!!

Okay, so when I'm bored, or when I'm drawing, or when I'm working on something tedious and need something on in the background, I turn on the Game Show Network. It's a nice little filler to help pass the time and all that. Harmless, right? Well, there was an unexpected side effect. I have gotten a crush on this man:





Richard Dawson, a panelist on Match Game and the first host of Family Feud. I will always watch Match Game if he is on it, or Family Feud if he's hosting. It even makes me want to try and watch Hogan's Heroes... someday, not just yet. <3

In other news, I can't wait for Dragon Age: Origins to come out! It's a little step down from the graphics quality of Mass Effect (ME2 is coming out in January, or so they say... SO EXCITED!), but still it looks pretty awesome. I've enjoyed every Bioware game I've played so far (KotOR, Jade Empire, and Mass Effect), so I'm sure I'll love this game as well. You know, I wasn't going to be a stupid fangirl and go for the elf, I wanted to go for Alistar, but they HAD to give the elf an Antonio Banderas accent. THEY JUST HAD TO! So now I don't know. DARN YOU ANTONIO BANDERAS ACCENT OF SEXINESS!!

I've decided to play KotOR again while waiting, because it's been forever since I've played it. And I'm actually enjoying myself! I've tried to replay the game a few times before, but didn't really enjoy it that much. It was too soon after the initial play, so I guess that's why. It's been YEARS now since the last attempt so I guess that helps. And I'm not being such a goodie-goodie. I can't actually be mean or bad, but I am looking out for number one! When I'm not giving hundreds of credits to people so they can pay off their debt. Yeah... I'm going to be sparkly with a beam of light on my profile page again. ;___;

I should probably get around to finally playing Balder's Gate sometime.

The Ballad of G.I. Joe - Shared via AddThis

I had this in my favorites for a while thinking I'd watch it later. Today, I was looking trough my list for something, saw a link saying "G.I. Joe: The Musical", thought "Whut?", and decided to check it out. It's rather amusing, and the fact that they got some pretty big names (well, people I recognized) to do the parts was pretty interesting! Is full of amusement!! And silly-ness!!

Of all the celebrity deaths in the past week, I think the one that has affected me the most is that of Billy Mays. ;_; I just watched an episode of Pitchmen (my brother has it saved on our DVR) and I cried when they showed the spot used as a tribute to him. I remember thinking when I found out he died that I wanted it to be a joke, I didn't want him to be dead. And it's not like I really was a fan or anything. I don't know. ;_____; Random.

Life is going fine. Have a job, am leaving the job for other job in fall. Other than that, trying to get my life under control again. Will post again with more detail soon. Or in August. One or the other.

Okay, so when I was in middle school, my favorite author was LJ Smith. I read almost all of her books multiple times and sometimes, when I'm feeling squirrelly, I'll pick up a book and read it for good light fun. The books, I realize as I read them now when I'm older, really aren't that fantastic, but I loved them then so I still like them now.

Why do I bring this up? Well, recently it came to my attention (from Fandom Secrets no less) that they are going to try and cash in on the vampire craze by making a tv series based off of "The Vampire Diaries". Now, "The Vampire Diaries" are a million times better than Twilight, in my biased opinion, simply because of the positive character progression that is made throughout the books. While the main girl starts off as a stupid superficial girl who treats people like crap, she eventually grows up. I realize it ain't Shakespeare, but at least it doesn't promote stalking, weak women (though Elena is kinda obsessed with Stephan, if only because he snubbed her), or high school boinking (from what I can remember).

I have so many mixed emotions about this. Part of me is happy and curious to see what they are going to do. Even since I first read the books, I've wanted them to be made into a tv series or a movie or something. Part of me is irritated because they chose the Vampire Diaries when I'd much rather see the Secret Circle done, but yes, Vampires are "in" now. Another part of me is cringing because I know it will be compared with Twilight (hopefully they won't think that Smith is ripping off of Meyer because Smith wrote her books first!). And the last part of me is just dreading everything ;_; I want it to do well, but really... I'm scared more than anything. Please do well CW (I think that's who's doing it) and TV crew. Don't ruin my middle school years for me. ;_________;

So, yesterday, my grandmother had one of her "Old People Parties" as I like to call them, and thus I was compelled to leave the house for about three hours to avoid one friend of hers in particular who loves to criticize everything and makes it her business to tell everyone how everything should be done. Also, they needed my parking space.

So, anyways, I decided to go see a movie and needed something light-hearted to cheer me up. Naturally, I decided to see My Bloody Valentine, though I opted to see it in 2D because the 3D theater was further. I was glad that I did because... well... it's a movie about a man who kills with a pickaxe... in 3D.... YOU CAN IMAGINE!! On that note.... WHO WANTS TO GO SEE THE MOVIE IN 3D WITH ME?!?! ... don't everybody volunteer at once. (Yes, I realize all my friends are scaredy-cats and no one is actually going to volunteer ;_;) Sigh. Way to have normal friends, self!!! Maybe I should lie and say that it's a fun romantic comedy... Do you think that will work? ........ Me neither.

Oh well, I'm going to go watch Wings now. FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!

EDIT: Way to go BLEACH!! Grabbing my interest once more and then making me wait until next issue.... CURSE YOU!!! CUUUUUUURRSSEEEEEE YOOOOUUUUUUUUU!!!

Okay, so, life.

My dad is in Minnesota, he's going to start chemotherapy next Monday (after Christmas), and they're going to see if he can have surgery after that is over. He's going to have six weeks of it, as well as some radiation, and then... we'll see. He's had cancer for a while, he's in the third stage of four stages, but we're being optimistic. My mom's friend's dad had the same kind of cancer (and appeared to be worse off than my dad) and he went into remission, so... yeah. It could be worse. And the fact that surgery is still an option seems to be a good sign. We're all praying for him, and telling him to be optimistic, because that helps. It really does! I'm hopeful.

In other news, I finally graduated from college. I know, those of you who are younger than me and already graduated are like "Wait, what? You were still in college? LOSER!" but, you know what? I finally did it. It took me forever, yes, but I finished, so I'm proud of myself. Though, while I was in school, I was embarrassed for being in it so long. There were reasons (working at a law firm so only going to school two days a week (for the first two years at least), miscommunications with guidance counselors that added a year to the equation and then my own lack of motivation and mental composure), but it's over and I have a Bachelors in English. What can that do for me? A lot, actually.

Commencement was a bore, but it was nice after wards. My brother actually got me Rock Band 2 and another guitar which was a really nice surprise. My family also gave me money, which was also very nice. Yay for munnies!

So there, finally a chapter of my life closed. FOREVER. NEVER EVER GOING BACK. EVER.

Yay for Christmas, though. I got all my Christmas shopping done! Didn't spend as much as last year, but I spent quite a bit, because I love Christmas, and I love Christmas shopping! I think I enjoy giving things more than getting them (though, don't get me wrong, I like that too). Hopefully next year I will have more munnies so I can get gifts for more of my friends :3 Mostly got for family this year.

Okay, so a month or so ago, I finished reading Howl's Moving Castle, and I really, really liked it. I bought the Miyazaki movie about six months ago without realizing it (I was ordering a bunch of Disney Movies from the Disney Movie Club because I'm a member and now, having fulfilled my requirements, I get good discounts and it was half off everything so I bought a bunch) but I haven't watched it yet. To make a long story short, I don't like Miyazaki movies because I'm a heathen and I'm not sure if I want to watch the movie ;_; DILEMMA!! The only thing the movie has for it is Christian Bale doing the voice of Howl.......

His name is Indiana Jones but we just call him Indy. He is two years old, and I'll have had him for two years in January! It just took me forever to get around to posting something with him, and since he is the cutest puppy ever (highly biased opinion) I decided to finally use my mom's digital camera to film him a little. The picture quality is horrible, but please bear with it!!

The first part is in our kitchen/eating room area, with Indy being harassed by a sock. You can see Prince a bit in the beginning and Ziggy towards the end of the first half. The second half is Indy being harassed by Monkey on the bed in my room. NO! I WAS NOT TORTURING HIM! But you can slowly see him getting more and more exasperated until he finally lays down all huffily and decides to ignore him. You can also see my pile of stuffed animals that was a side-effect of working at Build-a-Bear... ;_;

Since the first part had a phone conversation between my mom, my grandma, and my cousin in the background, I decided to just take the sound out and add a silly song so it wouldn't just be video. It's Orko's theme from He-Man... don't ask why I have it on my computer.

I could survive for 1 minute, 9 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor

So, I randomly got a job this weekend answering phones at a car dealership (just for the weekend). I originally turned it down then realized that money is good, so I called back and was like "Yes, give it me." A drug test later and my weekend is disappeared. ;_; PRECIOUS FREE TIME WAS STOLEN BY DESIRE TO NOT BE POOR!
